The Norwegian Music Therapy Association (NMTA)

NMTA was established in 1972. The primary goal of this association is to promote the understanding of music therapy and the establishment of music therapy practice in Norway. NMTA co-operates with different music-organisations to achieve a better musical offer for people with special needs.

NMTA has been a member of the Council for Music Organisations in Norway since 1981. This gives us the right to financial support from the Government and subsidy for cours
